Bad habits? Where does one begin, like umm getting another ten people involved to give their ‘Wise’ advice and opinion on something he’s actually already made up his mind about and set in stone. In fairness though, that last bit he probably hadn’t realized himself at the time.
Deciding what film to see at the cinema…’You decide.’ Deciding where to eat out, again, is up to you to decide only later to be followed by constructive criticism of why he thinks it might not be such a good idea after all as he heard the food wont be up to much.
And for someone so sophisticated who loves beautiful things, just a pity those same aspirations are not included in his dress sense. It’s one thing looking a million dollars at his uncles last funeral or at the Staff Christmas do in 1987, but fashion can go out of date you know and some colours do clash.
Yet always affectionate and, sympathetic even towards people he doesn’t know and for a guy, especially, what a great listener too.
And I’m sure you know this already, that your girl friends too find him charming and attractive but mark my words, turn your back and they will grab him at the first opportunity.

Elegant things for the home would be appreciated, particularly if they came in pairs like a couple of tastefully framed prints (but he would have to choose) and a luxury food hamper would go down a treat!
A nice watch too would compliment dinner and going to the theatre
